~:[CH13 - Day 60]:~ Under the Blue Sky

It's a leap day. It's amazing how incredible the sky looked above and my artistic mind kept thinking about the impressionist painters as I walked through my day, gazing as I walked under the beautiful blue sky. It was a hectic day. I had grills, I had deadlines, and I had a load of work to do, but all of that stress subsided when I step food outside. I was engulfed by the beauty around me as I looked up and wondered who else was soaking in this beautiful sky above. No matter what chaos ensued around me, when I looked up at the sky, I couldn't think nothing more than how much a blessing this one extra day was. Sometimes in life, we face so many challenges and are surrounded by the stress and pressures of life. It's easy to closer yourself off to the world, put your head down, and barrel through it, hoping to reach the end of this dark and tumultuous tunnel. However, while grit and perseverance are keys to surviving these challenging moments, sometimes, we just need to pick up our head to realize that as we've faced this storm engulfing us, we forgot about the beautiful blue skies overhead. Life is full of so many blessings and I hope that despite all the chaos in life, we can take the time to look up and find something that we've been missing all along. As I think back on this day, there are many outcomes I wish I could have changed, still yet, I smile as I continue to gaze at this beautiful sky knowing just how blessed I am to simply be standing under the blue sky overhead. Today may not have been perfect or even a day I would considered a good day, it doesn't mean it wasn't precious.
