~:[CH8 - Day 10]:~ That Just About Sums It Up
Today was my first day back as I tried to catch up and slip back into the routine. It feels weird when everyone has a head start on you and you're sprinting to catch up. That kind of sums up my life, I hit the ground running. I keep my schedule packed and use efficiency to try and catch up. Late nights and that glaze of exhaustion is how you start, but slowly, it wears off and you start to pace yourself. I ask myself sometimes if it's worth it, but being able to do more in a given day, week, month or year, I would often say yes. From class to practice to grills, it was definitely a full night, but one that I would not change, as it felt good being back in the grind. For many, work can be a chore, but when you have great people around you, it makes it much easier. As I look at this picture, you see the goofiness of this group and sometimes you just look at a picture like this and think to yourself, yeah, that just sums it up. Today was a summation of how my life is normally and this picture is why I keep at it day after day. Sure the weights of life may be heavy on your shoulders, but it's captured moments like this that can easily lift you up and carry you to the finish line. I made it to the end of the day and ready to sprint ahead again into the finish line and hopefully they'll be there to help me cross it again tomorrow.
