~:[CH8 - Day 4]:~ Life Goes Zooming By
I finished eating lunch with my friend and wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to do before meeting my friend later that night. I could've rested, but knowing that I had to work this weekend, I decided to make the most of my time and headed off. I was going to go to the light festival, but timing wise, it wouldn't have worked out, so I ventured off to Yokohama to see what I've been missing there. It was fun to explore a new area and even took the time to stop at an overpass to take some shots, when I almost walked on by to hurry back to Tokyo. I guess that sums up life in a nutshell. The choices you make give you opportunities or experiences which may be both good and bad. In my experiences, I have had more good experiences than bad while taking these opportunities, but for others it may not be the same. Regardless, life will keep moving along with or without you so make a decision before it's all gone. As I walked through the metro system of Tokyo, I realized that this place could be a disaster if you didn't know where you were going. The signage is great in most cases, but everyone moves with such purpose that you can't move at a lethargic without getting in the way. I guess this paralleled my experience as you only have a few moments to make decisions before they disappear. Don't rush and make a bad decision, but also be decisive when these moments come. Rest could have done me a lot of good, but most people know I wouldn't choose that option, as I headed out for one last adventure before I have to head back to the work grind.
