As I looked up in amazement of the walls that surrounded me, it was an amazing display that was truly unexpected. The visuals were stunning from the steam that rose from the tables in the room next to us, to the towering shelves that surrounded us. It was fairly simple, yet something about it appealed to me. From community day to hot pot to kdramas and a sprinkling of work, I allowed this day to be structured yet also relaxing. There wasn't a huge rush in the day, but it was perfectly filled until night's end. It made me think about the towering shelves that surrounded us. The pieces of our days, our years and of our lives, fit together in a display that may seem simple, but together, it's a display that is a sight for the eyes. Each day may not seem special, but as a whole, you slowly piece together something that you can be proud of. Like a stitch within a carpet or a brush stroke within a painting, we are all working on that display and each and every day, what we put into the masterpiece will make up the display that is ourselves. Every encounter and every moment because of piece of this greater work. I have been blessed to have many great pieces and hope that we can all share pieces of ourselves to display in each other's masterpiece that is you. Whether we realize it or not, we each impact each others lives and leave an indelible impression on the lives of those around us. Let's make them ones we will always want to remember so when we look back, they'll bring back memories that we will never want to forget.
