~:[CH8 - Day 30]:~ To Mend
Life is just like today. We travel down a path wondering what we will see as we go. We really don't know what we will encounter, but hope that as we travel, we'll find something to help us not feel so alone on our path. Along the way we may encounter difficulties much like the problem I faced with my pants. Those moments are ones that we want to forget and may even lead to us tossing something away. However, sometimes you realize that it would be a waste to throw it all away and you try to find a way to mend what's been torn apart. As you venture along the path you build memories, gain experiences, and ultimately, you hope to find a way to salvage what has been broken or torn apart. The battle scars of life are many, but those moments are sometimes the ones that can also be the most memorable. In a day full of great moments traveling from Canada to Seattle, exploring Chinatown, and venturing through the city, I found that the moments staring out the window looking at the beautiful scenery appealed to me the most. The beauty of the what lied beyond reminded me of my own life and help me reminisce on things that have gone wrong and right and what can be done to fix the past as I venture on ahead. It was a nice time to reflect and trying to take some time to be introspective. As while the day was great, it always is a good thing to take time away from all the chaos that is going on to take care of what needs to be taken care of for one's self. By night's end, I had a pair of pants that is much like myself, having the battle scars of life, but still as useful and functional as ever. As while the wears and tears of life may pull you down, it is you who must find a way to pull yourself up, so you can continue down this beautiful path that we call life and it's only when we find a way to mend those open wounds that we can take the next steps in the right direction.
