~:[CH8 - Day 28]:~ Night vs Day
We visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge last night for Canyon Lights, but quickly returned this morning to see the area in the day time. Much like things in life, timing can lead to quite different views. The students noticed the difference quickly as we explored and enjoyed the beauty of the park. It was fun to wander around especially since it was pretty empty and easy to move around. As busy as life can get, this is one of the things I live for and it's these moments that make my life what it is. As stressful as planning has been, this group has gone with the flow even when things have gone as planned, they just make the most of these moments, keeping the positive energy going. I've enjoyed the good spirits of the group and as the day turned to night, we enjoyed a dinner together as we said goodbye to another day. I've often wondered if I spend too much time "working," needing to divert more time to myself, however, every time I think about it, it's moments like these that tell me that the time spent is so worthwhile. As I looked around me, the scenery was different than it was last night as the sun peeked between the trees, creating beautiful lens flares, but the reality is that day or night, these moments were equally memorable and exceptional each in their own way, reminding me that every sacrifice made, has been well worth it.
